Reception staff were OK though, organized for the luggage to be delivered to the room. The youngsters slept on a pull out style settee bed which was fine for them.
Staff friendly and beneficial everything went accordingly to plan.

Food in restaurant apparently very good, my pals man from NZ in hotels for a long time thought the nosh was super, staff in eaterie a little young but pleasant. Overall experience was superb, few insignificant problem with staff, cushty hotel, central, facilities OK need an upgrade, food the neatest thing, unusual to have such good food and poor staff serving it, breakfast on Sun.
We thought rather weird, the other girl then said she doesn't like the chef! Not what we presumed, food brilliant, manners and mannered, accomadating, anticipated things, seen him with two guests and perhaps the hotel should get him to train the rest of the staff particularly the unpleasant piece of work in reception.
Good Job Chef!, should have asked he is's name but didn't.
Next time we will get a baby sitter and go to the restaurant, we're going to be asking for chef though........he makes all of the difference!

The lounge room with mixed dining was spacious and happy with a large plasma TV, mini bar, web connection and the spa lavatory next door with wooden shutter windows which opened up to the lounge room..

The bedroom was down the corridor in a separate room and the king size bed needed to be one of the most cosy hotel beds we had slept in for a long, long time. The room was extremely spacious with a wonderful settee, TV and large wardrobes. there's a really nice outdoor pool, a gym and a bar and restaurant . We had lunch one day and completely liked the meal. Room Service was fantastic too.

The hotel is a little dated relating to the facade and reception lobby areas, regardless we found it to be a very comfy hotel.

Check out the Royal on the Park Brisbane
